My practice is one of patience, diligence, and endurance. For many, getting a handpoke (or stick and poke) tattoo can be a calmer, gentler, and more meditative alternative to electric machine tattooing. Though it takes longer, I encourage clients to use it as an opportunity to connect with your body on a deeper level as you move through the experience.
My work is heavily inspired by the ancient past– from reviving long extinct creatures to recreating the craftsmanship of prehistoric artifacts, I give old things new life through my illustration and design. I take particular interest in fossils, cave art and petroglyphs, artifactual figurines, and classical art, as well as religious and spiritual symbolism.
